Post your Bionics count here.

I working with the surgeon's scheduler for my total leg knee right now. How long was your recovery on your first one. I need five surgeries and hope to get them all done this year.
Bloody hell
I don't want to catch up with you!
I was off work for 3 months with my full knee replacement on my right leg
My right knee has never stopped hurting but it works and that's all I'm worried about
And I can kickstart my 920 so it's all good as far as I'm concerned
But the deterioration in the joint between the x-ray in 2023 and last month IE the gap in the joint on my left has closed ,they put me up for urgent replacement so I agreed this time

Ya, I don't have a lot of pain (very high pain tolerance) but my left knee bones are actually grinding each other down and my joint is very loose. Soon, it will let go on the stairs or turning a corner and I'll be and an even bigger mess. I've been trying to get it done but could not get cardiologist clearance. Now I expect to be able to since I got a pacemaker.

Surgeries I want this year:
Left Knee - only one likely to become a bigger issue
Right shoulder - the one most annoying as it's useless (needs a replacement)
Left foot - only thing causing continuous pain but they want the knee fully recovered first
Left eye cataracts - get by in the day but night driving is getting hard
Right eye cataracts - get by in the day but night driving is getting hard

For next year:
Right Knee - joint is closed but is still stable. Of course getting worse all the time as I'm favoring it, especially on steps.

Like getting old - not for the faint of heart.

I don't wish catching up to my bionic count for you or anyone else!

I wouldn't mind getting older so much if I actually got wiser
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Had a partial knee replacement done just over 2 weeks ago on my left
All is going well
I'm recovering at my girlfriend's house
Apparently it's for my own benefit to keep me away from my garage as I can't be trusted 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

My full left will be done Tuesday. Probably will go to in-patient rehab for 1-3 weeks since I live alone and certainly cannot be trusted. My right shoulder replacement is tentatively planned for May 28th. So, in theory I'll be able to ride again by mid-July.

Hope it all goes well for you 👍👍👍👍

Left knee is replaced and I'm home. I shouldn't be - I planned on in-patient rehab but the hospital PT didn't think I needed it - she was dead wrong! Getting up from a chair is damned near impossible and sitting down in a chain is hard/dangerous. Being home otherwise is nice.

It's the amount of bruising that gets me !
I hope you've got enough meds and ice packs
And discovering you can actually sleep however briefly standing on your good leg leaning against a wall!

I had both knees totally replaced 2-1/2 months apart just before Covid hit. They had me down in PT almost immediately after the operations.
So.. no problem starting my Norton. I put it on the centerstand now to start. My knees are fine now but a couple other unrelated problems are stalking me. I can walk for miles. The only negative is that kneeling is extremely painful so I do a lot lying on my side when I have to get down to look at something.
Good luck Greg & Baz.

we have a bay window Vdub camper
And I find it impossible to kneel down working on the engine
I have to lay behind it, propping myself up with my elbow doing everything with one hand
I look a right twat !!

How about "bionics" failures?

I recently experienced the failure of my rotator cuff repair which was done about 30 years ago.

I woke up with my arm pointing the wrong way, but it didn't hurt until I popped it back in!
